"Chinese? I Can." is operated by Jing Lu, a self-employed individual (OSVČ) registered in the Czech Republic.

We provide digital, self-paced Chinese-language learning courses ("Courses") delivered via the go-lume.com web platform and companion app. Courses are digital content supplied online through your account — no physical goods are shipped. A Course may be delivered in more than one batch; the delivery arrangements are set out in Section 5.

Lume Studio is operated by Jing Lu, IČO 29611911, a sole trader registered in the Czech Republic. Payments on this Site are processed by Stripe and its acquiring affiliates. Stripe processes payments; it is not the seller of the courses.

Where Managed Payments applies to your transaction, the seller of record — the merchant of record for that transaction — is Sold through Link, LLC. Checkout is carried out through Link, Stripe's payment service. Your receipt and invoice are issued under the name "Sold through Link", and your card or bank statement may show a descriptor referring to Link rather than to Lume Studio. Receipts, invoices, refund confirmations and certain subscription emails are sent to you from Link, and you can manage your orders and subscriptions at link.com. Creating a Link account is optional and is not required to complete a purchase.

Where Managed Payments does not apply to your transaction, you buy directly from Jing Lu, IČO 29611911, who is the seller for that transaction.

In either case, the course content, your access to it, and your licence to use it are provided by Jing Lu, IČO 29611911, under these Terms.

Support is divided as follows: transaction-level questions — payment, billing, invoices and refunds — are handled by Link; questions about course content and access are handled by us. You may always write to us at [email protected], including about payment, and we will pass on whatever needs to be passed on.

Where Managed Payments applies to your transaction, the seller of record is responsible for calculating, collecting and remitting indirect taxes (VAT, sales tax, GST) in those countries covered by Managed Payments indirect tax compliance. For transactions in countries outside that coverage, and for all transactions to which Managed Payments does not apply, indirect tax compliance remains the responsibility of Jing Lu, IČO 29611911.

Prices shown on the Site include all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

On successful payment, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the purchased Course content for your own individual learning use. You may not resell, redistribute, publicly perform, sublicense, or share your account or Course materials with others.

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached (e.g., account sharing, unauthorized redistribution).

Courses are delivered by making them available in your account on the Site/app. The Course currently offered on go-lume.com is delivered in two batches: Batch 1 is made available once your payment is confirmed, and Batch 2 is made available on 2026-10-15. We will notify you by email when Batch 2 is available. If Batch 2 is made available later than that date, your statutory rights in case of late supply or non-supply are unaffected.

Completing checkout or accessing any batch does not waive your right of withdrawal. Your statutory right of withdrawal and our voluntary refund window, including the 14-day period that follows each batch, are set out in our Refund Policy.

All Course content, text, audio, video, design, and platform software are owned by or licensed to Lume Studio and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. No rights are transferred to you beyond the limited license in Section 4.

You agree not to: circumvent access controls; scrape, copy, or redistribute Course content; use the Site for unlawful purposes; or attempt to interfere with the Site's operation or security.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Czech and EU law, Lume Studio's liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site or Courses is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant Course. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer-protection law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. If you are an EU consumer, you may also refer a dispute to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, ČOI), the body responsible for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes in the Czech Republic: https://coi.gov.cz/en/information-about-adr/
