Refund Policy — "Chinese? I Can." (go-lume.com)

Last updated: 2026-09-19

1. Digital Content — Delivery in Two Batches

All Courses sold on go-lume.com are digital content supplied online through your account. There is no physical shipment. The Course is delivered in two batches: Batch 1 is made available in your account once your payment is confirmed, and Batch 2 is made available in your account on 2026-10-15. We will notify you by email when Batch 2 is available.

If Batch 2 is made available later than that date, the 14-day period described in Section 3 runs, for Batch 2, from the day it is actually made available, and your statutory rights in case of late supply or non-supply are unaffected.

2. Statutory right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion. Where digital content is supplied immediately, this right is lost only if you have given express prior consent to performance beginning before the withdrawal period ends and have acknowledged that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal. We do not currently collect such consent, and we therefore do not treat your statutory right of withdrawal as waived.

This right is unaffected by which entity is the seller of record for your transaction. Send your withdrawal notice to [email protected]. We will handle it and, where the transaction was processed under Managed Payments, arrange for the refund to be made by the seller of record.

Section 3 describes a separate, voluntary refund window. It does not limit or replace your statutory rights.

3. Voluntary refund window

In addition to the statutory right described in Section 2, we give you a voluntary contractual right to cancel your purchase, for any reason, within 14 days after each batch of the Course is made available to you (see Section 1). You can therefore cancel within 14 days after Batch 1 is made available, and again within 14 days after Batch 2 is made available. If you cancel within either period, we refund the full price you paid and your access to the Course ends. To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order details.

This voluntary window is a contractual right we grant in addition to what the law requires. It is not based on any waiver of your statutory rights, and it does not limit or replace them. Your statutory withdrawal period runs from the conclusion of the contract, as set out in Section 2, and not from the delivery of any batch. Where your statutory right of withdrawal applies, you may rely on that right instead, on the terms set out in Section 2.

4. How refunds are processed

Where Managed Payments applies to your transaction, refunds are issued by Sold through Link, LLC, the merchant of record for your purchase; Stripe processes the payment on Link's behalf but is not the party issuing the refund. The refund confirmation email is sent to you from Link, and funds are returned to the payment method used at checkout. We can initiate a refund on your behalf; Link handles the payment-side processing and any related queries. Where Managed Payments does not apply to your transaction, refunds are issued directly by Jing Lu, IČO 29611911.

5. Processing Time

Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment method and bank.

6. Consumer Rights

This policy does not affect any statutory rights you have under Czech or EU consumer-protection law that cannot be waived by contract. If you believe your Course materially fails to match its description, you may still have remedies under applicable law — contact us to discuss.
